1 cup Onion Powder
1 cup Garlic Powder
1/4 cup Black Pepper
1/2 cup Paprika (sweet)
1/4 cup Mustard Powder
2 Tablespoons of dried Ginger
1/2 cup dried Oregano
1 package of fresh Thyme (the West Indian variety)
1. Leave the package of Thyme partially open in the fridge and after a few days it will become dry. Shake off all the dried leaves from the stems and discard the stems.
2. In a wide mouth jar place all the spices and herbs along with the dried Thyme and shake well.
3. Cover tightly and keep in the cupboard. Add to your homemade soups, on roasted potatoes, on meat, fish or poultry anything you want to spice. You can always add salt to taste but at least with this blend you determine how much salt you want to add.
